Nicor awards grants to three Naperville organizations Nicor Gas has awarded grants of up to $5,000 each to 23 organizations in Northern Illinois and the Chicago area, including three organizations in Naperville. Grant recipients in Naperville are Naperville Neighbors United NFP, Naperville Youth Club and North Central College. The Nicor Gas grants totaling $100,000 support diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives to help prevent discrimination based on race, national origin, gender, religion, age, sexual orientation, veteran status and physical disabilities.
