By Journal Staff | on August 30, 2023 Editor, Journal: What is the order when playing the national anthems of other countries with the 'Star-Spangled Banner'? This is a question I posed to a retired Army major general who did not know for sure. Senator Duckworth's office and someone responded with typical political gobbledygook and did not answer my question. There was also no response from headquarters of the Illinois American Legion. I also asked my wife who admitted she did not know, but never really thought about it.
