Des Plaines man charged with stealing $2,000 bike during test ride A Des Plaines man was arrested on allegations he stole a $2,000 bicycle at Rivers Casino from someone who'd gone there to sell it, police said Wednesday. Daniel Soriano, 26, of the 2700 block of Craig Drive, is charged with felony theft. The theft occurred Aug. 17 in a parking lot at the casino in Des Plaines. The bike's owner, a Northbrook resident, had agreed to meet a prospective buyer, whom he'd met through an online advertisement, at the casino.
